Opening of The Mobile Science Center

Anders Lund Madsen will guide the Minister of Education Bertel Haarder and children from the Danish delegation to the UNICEF children's Climate Forum around the energy city. Students will make electricity and heat from the mini power and heating plant, which will be used to light up and heat the city. The remaining heat is used to bake sustainable pancakes for the attendees.

Radiohost Henrik Milling presents climate friendly vehicles, and afterwards they will be sent out onto the streets of Copenhagen by Lord Mayor Ritt Bjerregaard and Engineering and Environmental Mayor Klaus Bondam. The climate friendly cars will participate in the art work “CO2 E-race”, where the cars with green LED-lights will shape the word CO2 in the city’s streets.

The Great Lantern Parade will depart the Tycho Brahe Planetarium and walk through Tivoli and towards the City Hall Square. Bubber will be leading the parade together with Ida Corr, Simon Mathew and the Pandas.
